The Adult Bible study group meets on Wednesdays at 7:15pm. They will be studying various topics led by different members with a good portion of time spent in prayer. The courses of study change throughout the year.

Life is difficult at every age.  We know that this can be true for those moving from high school to college or to starting their careers.

Because of this we have created a ministry for college and career-age young people.  We meet every Sunday morning during Life Groups for Bible study and fellowship.  We also offer time for social activities every month.

At JBC we desire to build relationships with one another so we can help each other make it through the tough times, build each other up in the truth, and keep one another accountable to God's Word.  Come join our College/Career Life Group and grow with us.

Acts 2: 42-47 tells the story of a radical group of people who actually believed that living a life for God meant living life together in community.  For them that meant devoting themselves to The Book, living lives of authenticity, deeply caring about practical needs within the group, and committing to inviting others to be a part of their movement.  The question we ask ourselves at JBC is simply, "What if what happened in that story would happen in our story?"

Life groups are groups of individuals committed to pursuing Christ in authentic, Biblical community.  Life groups meet from 11-11:45 am after the Sunday morning service and at various times during the month for events and community connection.  They vary in size, seasons of life, teaching content, and group dynamics, but are unified in purpose.  Each group seeks to Grow, Go, Care, Connect.

We invite you to become a part of the "Women By Design" at Jamestown Baptist.  We welcome women from 18 to 101 to grow more in love with Jesus Christ and with their sisters in the Lord.

The purpose of Women by Design is to...

PROMOTE a growing relationship with Jesus Christ for women,

BUILD fellowship and encourage one another, and

PROVIDE opportunities for service and ministry.

Our events include Tuesday morning and Wednesday night Bible Studies, retreats, volunteer opportunities, fundraising activities, a Christmas Tea, shopping trips, softball, volleyball, and many other opportunities to grow with one another.

We will be studying Beth Moore's "Esther:  It's Tough Being a Woman", a study on the book of Esther.  You are welcome to join us on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11 am led by Cheryl Brugel or Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 pm led by Flo McKeever & Kandi Carman.  Workbooks are available for $17 each.
*Nursery is provided for both.
